Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken breast (200g)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil for frying (enough to fill the pan)

Kitchen Tools Needed:
  • Frying pan
  • Measuring cups
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs
  • Paper towels

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dip the chicken breast into the buttermilk, letting the excess drip off.
  • Coat the chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken into the oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oil and place it on paper towels to drain excess oil.
